Still the Best of its Genre
(played on an iPad Air 2)
The Simpsons Tapped Out is an amazingly fun experience, whether youre looking for something to do off and on throughout the day or plan to sink some serious time into the game.
The writing is always sharp—much better than the show has been these last ten years, if you can believe it—and its always been fun to construct your very own Springfield. With the addition of the Big Box Donut Shop as a way to earn donuts, the developers have found a way to give back to their fans and help us snag the Premium characters we want. Its a great feature that I wish had been there from the beginning.
Most importantly, the in-game events never feel like theyre taking advantage of the player. Unlike the events in the Tapped Out clones Family Guy and the Quest for Stuff & Avengers Academy (both coincidentally made by TinyCo), it doesnt feel like were being drained of cash in a rush to complete our tasks.
If youre looking for a fun (and funny) city sim starring your favorite dysfunctional family, this is it.
